Linking Slack to Freshdesk

Go into the apps section in Slack and install the Freshdesk App

Once you go into Freshdesk it looks like this and then select open app so that it adds to your apps

Select Allow for permissions to flow from Slack to Freshdesk.

Confirm your logged into Freshdesk and open the "Configure" Button for your API Key.

This is where you will paste your API Key from Freshdesk into Slack.

In Freshdesk click on your profile in the top right and access your profile settings.

Select the "View API Key" button and copy the Key.

Paste your API Key into Slack to connect your account and click OK to confirm.
